FAQs
Why is Indoor Tanning the ‘smart’ way to tan?
Indoor tanning minimize the risk of contracting sunburn while maximizing the enjoyment and benefit of having a tan. Our staff are certified specialists are able to recommend a tanning schedule based on your skin type and tanning needs.
Why do you change your bulbs every 400-500 Hours?
At Natomas Tanning we use only high pressure, high quality bulbs. These bulbs increase the amount of energy that is released so that the tanning process is triggered in one-sixth the amount of time compared to a lower quality bulb. As a result, only three treatments within a 10 day period will give you a deep, healthy looking, natural tan that lasts a longer time. Only one session every 3-4 days (depending on skin type) is necessary to remain tan!
Why are there no 20-30 minute beds in your salon?
It is our priority to offer our clients the latest in tanning supplies and equipment. As such, we have invested in several XXX machines which require a shorter tan time with quicker results.
What difference does having facials in the tanning beds make?
Tanning beds without facials cause broken veins on the face and deeper wrinkles. Some clients may also grow darker brown spots on the face. The damage on you face and neck, if tanned one month on a 20 minute bed, is equal to 3 months of AGE showing on your face!! Tan for 6 months average tanning client may equal to 18 months of age showing on your face. In an effort to protect our clients, Natomas Tanning proves our clients with top line tanning beds containing facials, minimizing the aging effect.
How often should I tan?
Your skin continues to tans up to 48 hours after you get out of the tanning bed (smarttan.com). You will get a much better tan if you tan every 30 hours, rather than daily. It is a myth to think you will get darker if you tan every day, in fact you will harm your skin causing it to dry out and actually lose your tan faster. |
